Navigating through Alert Console

Alert Console comprises the following sections:

  • Accessing Alert Console
    This section helps you to access the Alert Console from the home page. It provides a list of all alerts triggered within a specified time frame. Associated and Correlated alert sections are available, offering a comprehensive view of the system’s alert activities.
  • Alerts Based on Severity
    In the Alert Console, widgets categorize events by severity, providing a summary of each category. These widgets display the total event count for different severities – Critical, Error, Warning, and Information.
  • Alert Details
    Alert Details provide a detailed view of specific Alerts in the Alert table. It further provides a comprehensive source of insights under key sections namely Overview, User Feedback, Contextual Metrics, and Information Table.
  • Operations On The Alerts Listed
    In the Alert Listing table, you can perform various operations to streamline your experience such as Search, Filter, and Sort.
  • Configurations
    On the Alert Console page, you can personalize your experience with configurations such as Configure
    Displayed Fields and Adjust Alert Display.

Go to the Alert Console via Observability > Alert Console from the left navigation menu. The Critical widget will show you all critical alerts. Click on it to see details.

Click on the alert notification or find the alert in the Alert Console and click the Alert ID. This will take you to a detailed view with all relevant information.

In the Alert Console, use the severity widgets (Critical, Error, Warning, Information) to filter alerts. Click on the desired severity to see relevant alerts.

Click the Export button in the Alert Listing table to download a CSV file of the alerts.

Look for the ‘A’ tag next to alerts, indicating correlation. This feature helps group the related alerts to reduce noise.

Notifications are displayed in the Notification bar under the Alerts section. Click View All to go to the Alert Console, or click on an alert for detailed information.

Yes, vuSmartMaps provides a notification mechanism. Users receive instant notifications as alerts occur. These notifications can be checked in the Notification bar under the Alerts section, where the most recent 5 alerts are displayed.
