Our Product development team is responsible for creating highly scalable products for our customers and delivering excellent customer experience. We are looking for strong, enthusiastic self-driven software engineers to join as members of this group. As part of this team, you will have tremendous opportunities in influencing the direction of many of vuNet's critical products for years to come. Your responsibilities will include working closely with other engineering team members, and interacting with product, design, content, business and many other groups to deliver world-class software solutions. Our team is not afraid to question assumptions and given the demand, our team needs to break new grounds from creating entirely new platform architectures, high speed data indexing to storage, go deep into platform scale for streaming data, to innovative ways of looking at combining various modules together for a seamless user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Opentelemetry Instrumentation Development: Design, develop, and maintain Opentelemetry instrumentation libraries for applications built using Java, .NET, or similar languages.
- Integration with Observability Tools: Integrate Opentelemetry instrumentation with observability tools to provide comprehensive monitoring and insights into application performance in hybrid cloud, container and serverless environments.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize instrumentation code and data pipeline to minimize overhead and ensure minimal impact on application performance while capturing relevant telemetry data.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and DevOps specialists to understand requirements, provide guidance on instrumentation best practices, and ensure seamless integration with the Observability product.
- Documentation and Support: Create documentation and provide support to internal teams and customers on using Opentelemetry instrumentation effectively, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance.
- Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in observability, distributed tracing, and instrumentation techniques to continually enhance the Observability product.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience and solid understanding on Opentelemetry for instrumenting applications to collect telemetry data.
- Strong programming skills in Java, .NET, or similar languages with a proven track record of building scalable and reliable software systems.
- Familiarity with observability tools and frameworks such as Jaeger, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools is highly desirable.
- Understanding of distributed systems concepts and experience with building and debugging distributed applications is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends in observability and software engineering.
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of engineering, or B. Tech Information Technology or any a related field.
