What You Can Make Happen

As an Account Manager BFSI, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts and/or building  relationships with newly named accounts in the banking and financial services industry. You will  understand their business objectives and provide strategic guidance and solutions to help them  achieve their goals. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client  satisfaction and drive revenue growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients. Serve  as the main point of contact for all sales-related inquiries, ensuring high customer satisfaction  and retention.
  • Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with clients to negotiate pricing, contract terms, and  service-level agreements. Ensure that contracts are executed accurately and in a timely  manner.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Track sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts using  CRM tools. Generate regular sales reports and provide updates to management on sales  performance, account activities, and potential risks. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales engineers, product  managers, and customer support, to provide seamless customer experiences and resolve any  technical or service-related issues.

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • 8-13 years of experience in an Account Manager or Client Relationship Manager role
  • Deep understanding of the banking and financial services domain and technology landscape
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand complex software solutions and explain  them to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and influence  buying decisions. 
  • Demonstrated consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and  provide tailored solutions. 
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales productivity tools. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and adjust sales  strategies accordingly. 
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’ s degree in business administration, marketing, computer science, or related field  (or equivalent work experience).
