Getting Started

Pre-requisites and System Requirements

Before utilizing vuLauncher, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

  1. A dedicated VM for SiteManager with a minimum configuration of 100GB disk space, 4 cores, and 8GB RAM. This VM must have connectivity to all other nodes where vuSmartMaps™ will be installed. OS of the VM should be linux
  2. One or Multiple additional VMs with at least 4 cores, 32GB memory, and 100GB disk space.
  3. A mount point named “/data” with a minimum disk space of 100 GB should be present on all VMs.
  4. A  user with password sudo privilege to be present on all the VMs.
  5. Supported OS
    1. Ubuntu – 20.04, 22.04
    2. RHEL – 7.x,  8.x , 9.x
    3. CentOS – 7.x, 8.x
    4. Rocky – 9.x
    5. Oracle Linux – 7.x, 8.x
  6. Expose the following ports:
    1. Port 8080 on the SiteManager VM.
    2. Port 30901 for Minio tenant.

7. Ensure uniform credentials across all VMs i.e. same password or private key across all VMs
